Babble

This movie is interesting, in that it combines the lives of a number of total strangers into a mixed up time line that gives you no real indication until the end that the events are even remotely connected. Two kids in the desert are playing with a rifle, and happen to shoot at a bus full of tourists hitting one.  While at the same time the nanny of the couples children decides to take them to Mexico for a wedding, and an deaf/mute Asian girl who lost her mother is having issues trying to cope. I couldn't resist this movie, it looked kick ass, and I knew from the time that I downloaded the trailer on my PS3 that I would see it.  I didn't get to see it opening weekend, but that was by choice, my son was coming down the following weekend and I wanted to see it with him. Overall the plot was good, the storyline was great, and the acting was OK.  I would have to say that it's a must see movie for most. I personally was a little disappointed, and walked out thinking that it was a little over the top. ...

Hollywood... Fact or Fiction???

This entry is DIRECTLY oriented at the Middle East, and the media members that seem to enjoy highlighting their every little petty bitch... I put off seeing 300 because my son was coming in this week to spend Spring Break with me, and I wanted to see it with him, but I have been reading the press coverage of this movie about how the middle east doesn't approve of how this movie portrays them.
