Will Smith does an excellent job of acting in this movie, and his interaction with his real life son is awesome. I couldn't say enough good things about this movie, I only wish I would have went and saw this at the theater.

I knew I should have used the word Next when my friend suggested this movie. Nicolas Cage needs to retire from Hollywood, his movies are going downhill, and his ability to act is tainted by "Lord of War"s overly political statements.

Next will leave you wondering what the fuck happened, and you will walk out of the theater trying to figure out if the movie is over or not. The ending is not a cliff hanger, it's just missing in action.

Overall the movie was okay, right up to the point that he "clears" the factory by himself by splitting himself to view every "possible future" which by it's very definition should have taken an infinite amount of time.

My suggestion, go see the NEXT movie in your list of options, this one isn't even worth renting.

I went to see this movie this past weekend. I knew it was going to be good, Tim Allen and John Travolta are two of my favorite actors. Tim Allen is probably one of the best comedians of modern time (in my book), and John Travolta will never make a movie that I don't go see.

For years I have made fun of the Yuppies and the modern Harley's. The only time you see one with the rider not wearing their more leather than the average cow is on it's way home from the show room floor. It seems that it's a modern requirement to spend $2000 on leather just to own a Harley.

So from the very first scene of this movie to the very last I was laughing all the way. Especially the scene with Dudley claiming he's a computer programmer, he doesn't need his legs. Being a computer programmer myself I could easily relate :)

If you haven't seen this movie, your missing out. I'm hoping I get the opportunity to see it again before it's released to video, and If this doesn't come out on Blu Ray I'll be considering buying a HD DVD player just for this movie....

This movie is interesting, in that it combines the lives of a number of total strangers into a mixed up time line that gives you no real indication until the end that the events are even remotely connected.

Two kids in the desert are playing with a rifle, and happen to shoot at a bus full of tourists hitting one. While at the same time the nanny of the couples children decides to take them to Mexico for a wedding, and an deaf/mute Asian girl who lost her mother is having issues trying to cope.

The reason that I actually bought this on Blu Ray was the title, it had a sort of biblical tone to it, and I expected that the movie would have a religious over tone to it. I was wrong about the title and the movie.

I'd have to say rent this movie, but I wouldn't recommend buying it. The acting was low budget, the plot was confusing and out of time sequence making it difficult to follow. About the only redeeming quality in this movie is the portion of the story about the Nanny trying to get the children back to their home.

I couldn't resist this movie, it looked kick ass, and I knew from the time that I downloaded the trailer on my PS3 that I would see it. I didn't get to see it opening weekend, but that was by choice, my son was coming down the following weekend and I wanted to see it with him.

Overall the plot was good, the storyline was great, and the acting was OK. I would have to say that it's a must see movie for most.

I personally was a little disappointed, and walked out thinking that it was a little over the top. Overall I have to say that the director should have cut out the blood spraying everywhere. They did a bad job using CGI to throw the blood, then they put it in slow motion to make it even worse.

It's one thing to have a gory movie with body parts everywhere, but this one takes it to the extreme with walls of bodies, blood everywhere and one-liners trying to make lite of it all.

The ending left ton's to be desired, the Spartans just laid down and died without a fight. How disappointing is that.

This is one to add to your collection when it's released, but keep it away from the younger kids, and don't watch it before dinner unless you are wanting to use it to help your diet.

This entry is DIRECTLY oriented at the Middle East, and the media members that seem to enjoy highlighting their every little petty bitch...

I put off seeing 300 because my son was coming in this week to spend Spring Break with me, and I wanted to see it with him, but I have been reading the press coverage of this movie about how the middle east doesn't approve of how this movie portrays them.

First off this is a work of FICTION, and by the vary nature of the word it is NOT accurate, if you don't like it then go read the Koran or blow yourself up or whatever suits your fancy, but shut the fuck up about it. We are tired of hearing you cry and whine over every last little thing we do... We make movies to entertain US, not you. I don't recall ever seeing a movie made in the middle east, let alone reading about one making the status of Block Buster. Perhaps you should make your own movie, and guess what, I highly doubt anyone in the US will cry about how it portrays us...

Let's see recently Mel Gibson make The Passion, you cry about how you makes you look brutal and barbaric. Then we have Kindom of Heaven, and you cry about how it makes you look week and cowardly. Now we have 300 and your crying about how inaccurate it is.... GET OVER IT...

On the surface, this movie sounded like it might be a good movie, Brosnan usually does an excellent job in his movies, and they rarely turn out to be a flop, and when another week went by that Best Buy and Fry's didn't have any of the good new releases I thought I would give it a try.

Let me just say this, about 2 hours long, and it felt like 5 or 6 hours, the plot progressed that slow. There was little or no action, and the plot barely existed.

Save yourself the money, take the kids to the park, or wash the dog, do laundry, hell even clean the cat liter box, all of these things will being you more enjoyment than this movie. If you must sit down and watch it, make sure you set an alarm clock to wake you up when it's over.

I just finished watching Blue Thunder (1983) on ShowTime, and thought hey, it's a movie, I can post something about it here.

Roy Schneider does an excellent job in this movie, where he plays Frank Murphy, a Police Helicopter pilot who's given the chance to pilot a new hi-tech police gunship. During the course of the movie he finds out that there are people that have a better idea of what this gunships firepower could be used for.

The aerial shots in this movie are excellent, you an tell they were done in an actual helicopter, and not on a computer. The climax comes as Blue Thunder does a full loop to fall in behind the villain and take him out in classic Hollywood dogfight style.

Many talk about how that scene is impossible, but the reality is that it's impossible for the Gazzelle the French helicopter that is used in that movie, but there are a few helicopters that can do loops and roles. I remember seeing a special on History channel or one of those a few years ago where they were talking about it.

Anyway, this is a good movie to have in your collection if you can still find it anywhere. If not make sure you see it on Showtime.
